WHO AM I?

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

I'm Ben, a Level 5 qualified professional coach who helps people transform their lives and live without limits. I am also a qualified compassionate mind facilitator. I work as a vocational coach at the NHS Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit (ADRU) at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, it's the UK's leading national service for people suffering with severe anxiety disorders. I am also a former actor (including award winning RSC seasons, BBC dramas, ITV sitcoms and some terrible soaps and adverts) and former Executive Director of the Guardian Foundation.

WHY DO I COACH?

Life isn't linear. And life is long.

In my view, 5 year plans usually don't work. Opportunities arise when we are genuinely open and curious. When we're willing to risk and respond. And new adventures can happen at any stage of our lives. When we are humble and energised. When we let go of unhelpful ideas about ourselves and dare to dream. To be courageous.

In order to change our lives, we need an approach based on:

  • Understanding ourselves and our minds

  • Giving ourselves compassion and making peace with ourselves

  • Realising the gifts, skills and opportunities we've been given

  • Living authentically, courageously and intentionally

COMPASSION.  COURAGE.  COMMITMENT.
